This poster is a reissue of a color period tourist poster promoting the Padirac Shaft, depicting the Orifice with the Grand Staircase, created in the 1920s by Constant-Duval.
Very soon after the Padirac Chasm opened to the public in 1898, its administrator at the time, William Beamish, took into account — for the development of this exceptional site — the rise of automobiles and railways, the impact of paid holidays, and the beginnings of advertising.
Dimensions: 50 × 70 cm
Printed on 250g matte paper.
